Before the Event:
. Meet
with you well in advance of the event to discuss and record your
requirements . Offer advice on protocol and etiquette .
Provide hints and tips for those who are to make speeches, or have
other roles to play . Prepare all announcements and review with
you
On the Day:
. Arrive at the venue early for a thorough check of
all the arrangements on your behalf . Liaise with caterers,
organisers, photography and video teams and all other interested
parties . Greet and direct the Host(s) and
guests on arrival . Arrange the Receiving Line and introduce
guests . Announce meals . Announce and lead in the Top
Table . Announce speakers, toasts and other ceremonies as
required . Keep a watchful eye and deal discreetly with any
matters that may require attention. . Conclude the
formalities . Act as Master of Ceremonies or compère as
required
